Tea Party -- Fundraiser ?

A tea party fundraiser is a great way to entertain and catch up with family and friends. After all, tea parties are centered on conversation and elegance.  MDS Foundation in cooperation with TWIFF 2012 sponsored  an event titled "Annual Tea Party ". A social and fundraising event to help fight human trafficking.  This will be a yearly event . Tea will be serve with a selection of elaborate desserts , sandwiches—fancy food and coffee ( yes ......COFFEE).

Attendees, invitees  will  need the following : ( not required though)

• Matching china—tea cups, saucers and dessert plates
• Tea pot
• Elegant napkins
• Silver cutlery
• Tea trays
• Creamer and sugar bowl, including all condiments
• Guests—make sure guests don’t exceed the number of matching tea cups
• An elegant dining room, sitting room or outdoor garden will do
• Flowers and décor to create an atmosphere of sophistication

If you dont have anything like these--we will provide the cups and other stuff for your table. And Hey....you can also wear a HAT.

MDS Foundation is a non-profit organization devoted in defending human rights abuse globally.  We aim to raise awareness about human trafficking, sex slavery and child's right abuse worldwide.

TWIFF (Third World Indie Film Festival)-- a film festival that celebrates filmmakers worldwide whose topics deal with issues of the third world. The festival promotes awareness to social issues, helps gain a deeper understanding and greater respect for different cultures, and provides a platform for filmmakers to introduce their films to the broadest possible audience.

What is our Annual Tea Party all about ?

As is customary, in many parts of the world, tea time is an honored tradition of refinement and elegance as well as, used for many occasions. By the same token, it can also be a gathering of friends who come together to enjoy each other’s company, friendship and camaraderie. In that vein, in collaboration with Third World Indie Film Festival [TWIFF- http://www.thirdworldindiefilmfest.com/], Modern Day Slaves Foundation [MDSF- http://www.imdsf.com/mdsf/ ] is gathering its Tea Party of friends, neighbors and acquaintances to come together to raise funds to help fight human trafficking – an issue that impacts all aspects of society, family and human basic values that are dear and sacred to each and everyone of the human community.
